The Storyline of the Movie Godfather
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Padmakant Reddy alias PKR dies mysteriously. Due to this, a question arises among everyone regarding PKR’s successor. Meanwhile, the two potential candidates PKR’s PA and his son-in-law come forward to claim the CM position, and to win, they need to collect the votes of all 140 MLAs in the state.
The scene shifts to PKR’s funeral, where the movie introduces the elder son of PKR named Brahma Tej. He has been stopped by the police and guards from entering the funeral as he is hated by PKR’s daughter Sathya Priya for being an illegitimate son of PKR. She even blames him for her mother’s accidental death and wants her husband Jaidev to become the next CM.
Jaidev is a cunning and greedy man who is a partner with Lukas in drug dealing. Brahma doesn’t want him to step into his father’s shoes as it could lead to an increase in corruption in the state.
