The Storyline of the Movie ‘An Action Hero’
revolves around the famous actor Maanav (Ayushmann Khurrana). The movie starts in the present day when R.A.W. officers investigate Maanav. As the interrogation begins, the movie continues with a flashback where Superstar Maanav, for the shooting of his upcoming film, leaves for Mandothi, Haryana.
Upon his arrival, Maanav was approached by an aspiring Politician Vicky Solanki, but Maanav paid him no mind. Angered by Maanav’s negligence, Vicky manhandles Maanav. Maanav, trying to escape the situation, pushes Vicky, making him hit a stone, and he dies on the spot.
Frightened, Maanav decides to escape to the UK, followed by Vicky’s brother Bhoora (Jaideep Ahlawat), who tries to kill Maanav. The movie continues as a flashback where Bhoora chases Maanav and somehow gets involved with India’s Number 1 Don, Abraham Katkar (Gautam Joglekar).
