‘Hate Story’ is an Indian Hindi-language film starring Nikhil Dwivedi, Gulshan Devaiya, Paoli Dam, Mohan Kapoor, and Joy Sengupta. The film’s theme is a mixture of revenge and sexual harassment. The actors’ performance and the film’s plot played a major role in making the movie a commercial success. The critical success of ‘Hate Story’ made it possible for the movie to have three more installments with the name of Hate Story 2 and Hate Story 3.  

The Storyline of the Movie ‘Hate Story’

The film starts with two good friends, Kavya Krishna (Paoli Dam) and Vicky (Nikhil Dwivedi), who land a big company belonging to a business tycoon, Siddharth Dhanrajgir (Gulshan Devaiah), into trouble by successfully pulling off a sting operation against it.

 Though the two do not have any personal vendetta against the company or its owner, they get on the radar of Siddharth, who is furious and is out for revenge. Siddharth offers a job to Kavya in his company with a much better pay scale, and oblivious to Siddharth’s wicked plan, she accepts the proposal.

 Soon after joining his company, Kavya and Siddharth go on a business trip, where naïve Kavya falls for Siddharth’s tricks and gets intimate with him. When Kavya returns to the company, she isn’t able to use her entry pass and soon realises the heavy truth soon. Kavya confronts Siddharth, who tells her his revenge plan and humiliates her in front of her colleagues.

Later, she finds out that she is pregnant and visits Siddharth again to let him know about it. But things don’t go as planned, and Siddharth ends up kidnapping Kavya and making her get an abortion forcefully. Devasted, Kavya, with the help of Vicky, vows to take her revenge. Her first step towards it was becoming a prostitute and slowly gathering information against Siddhart by seducing various businessmen.
