A jobless man struggles to live together with his diligent brother and equally diligent sister-in-law. But it all changes when he joins hands with his sister-in-law to defeat their common enemy.
The movie ‘Nikamma’ is an Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Sabbir Khan. It is a remake of a 2017, Telugu Film, ‘Middle-Class Abbayi’, by Venu Sriram. This movie stars Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty. The film was announced in June 2019 and released on June 17, 2022.
The film starts with Aditya (Abhimanyu Dassani), an unemployed man who never sees eye to eye with his brother and sister-in-law. Frustrated by being always pointed out for being jobless and unresponsible, Aditya leaves his house and starts living with his paternal uncle for fifteen months but is called back by his brother to accompany his sister-in-law Avni (Shilpa Shetty) to Dhamli, where she had been transferred.
After reaching Dhamli, Aditya is forced to do the household chores by Avni, who wishes to see Aditya become a responsible man. One day, Aditya runs into Natasha (Shirley Setia), who turns out to be Avni’s cousin, and falls in love with her.
But after learning about Aditya’s feelings, Avni sends Natasha back. The movie proceeds with Aditya finding out the real reason behind Avni’s actions but, an unwanted situation arises that hinders Aditya’s relationship with Natasha.
