The movie ‘Wanted’ directed by Prabhu Deva, is a remake of a Telugu Movie ‘Pokiri’. The film has since then received many criticisms about its plot, musicals, and many others. Starring Salman Khan, Prakash Raj, Ayesha Takia, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Vinod Khanna, the film revolves around the life of Salman Khan, who plays the role of Radhe. The film thus was a commercial success receiving multiple nominations. The film also consists of Govinda, Anil Kapoor, and Prabhu Deva’s special appearance in its song ‘Jalwa’.
The Storyline of the Movie ‘Wanted’
The movie revolves around Radhe (Salman Khan), a local thug who works for money but refuses to join any gang in his area. While waiting for his friend’s aerobic class to get over, Radhe falls in love with the aerobics teacher Jhanvi (Ayesha Takia). Jhanvi comes from a middle-class family and lives with her single mother and younger brother in Mumbai.
Jhanvi is consistently being asked out by her neighbor and Inspector Daulat Talpade (Mahesh Manjrekar). Where the neighbor does not make any extreme advances toward Jhanvi, Inspector Daulat openly lusts for her and wishes to marry despite already being married.
Meanwhile, Radhe had received his first assignment from Gani Bhai to kill a member of Pawle’s (Raju Mavani) gang. He finishes the mission easily and helps out Jhanvi when she is stopped by Inspector Daulat one night. Finding him kind and interesting, Jhanvi falls in love with Radhe but is shocked to discover his true identity as a gangster. The movie continues with a shocking secret that is discovered by Gani Bhai’s gang that an undercover officer was part of their gang. Trying to find the officer, Gani Bhai and his gang get frantic and kill Shrikhant (Vinod Khanna) to lure out Rajveer Shekhawat (Salman Khan), the rumored undercover officer.
