The Storyline of the Movie Aashiqui 2
Rahul Jaykar is a popular pop singer whose career is waning due to his addiction to alcoholism. He gets in a fight with an artist named Aryan while performing on stage in Goa. He leaves in between a performance and drives to a local bar where he sees a girl named Aarohi singing one of his popular album songs.
He notices her melodious voice and simplicity and is impressed with her. He ensures her that he will help her become the new singing sensation and asks her to never sing in a bar again. Aarohi believed in his words and left her job, and returned to Mumbai with him.
However, Rahul is attacked by a few unknown men which causes him severe injuries. Vivek, who is his friend and manager, takes him to the hospital. Meanwhile, Aarohi tries to call him but Vivek avoids her call and doesn’t inform Rahul about it. After two months of failing to contact Rahul, Aarohi went back to her bar job due to her family’s financial condition.
Rahul who is recovered now, fires Vivek for not informing him about Aarohi’s calls. After that, he rushes to look for Aarohi and apologizes to her for not receiving calls. Then, with the permission of producer Saigal, Rahul begins to train Aarohi and the love story of the two singers begins.
