The Storyline of Asur Season 1
The first season begins with a flashback that shows a teen boy named Shubh being called Asur by his father because his mother died just after his birth. But despite this, he is very intelligent and can learn anything just by reading it once. One day, he poisons his father and kills him, and goes to Aghoris.
The scene shifts to the present time, where a former CBI officer named Nikhil Nair is teaching about crimes to his students. Although he is well settled in the US with his wife Naina and daughter Riya, he misses his work as a CBI officer in India. Meanwhile, he is continuously receiving a location point of the several murders which he forwards to his CBI friend Lolark Dubey.
But he is shocked at that moment when he learns about the brutal murder of Dhananjay Rajpoot alias DJ’s wife Sandhya. He used to investigate along with DJ but due to some issues, their bonding got ruined. Nikhil immediately reaches India to take over the case of Sandhya’s murder to find out the serial killer. On the other side, DJ is kept under suspicion as he knows about his wife’s extramarital affair.
