The Storyline of the Movie Bhuj: The Pride of India
The Bhuj movie begins by showcasing the time of 1947 when the country Pakistan was divided into two parts West Pakistan and East Pakistan. Although it’s a Muslim country, the Pakistanis from Eastern parts speak in Bangla, not in Urdu. Due to this, they are tortured badly by the Western side Pakistanis.
To get rid of it, in the 1970s, they raised their voice along with Hindus against Western Pakistanis. But President Ya-Ya-Khan and General Tikka executed their operation Searchlight and killed thirty lakhs of innocents. However, the Hindu Army rescued the remains and during the fight, the eastern part merged into India and all turned into Hindu.
The scene shifts to Islamabad where the General has not stopped yet and is planning for the next attack on India. As he knows the Indian Army is deployed towards the eastern part, he searches for the right place to execute his plan and chooses Bhuj Airport.
In the next scene, the Pakistani jets begin attacking Bhuj and people there are not aware of what’s going on. Meanwhile, Vikram Singh Baj, an Indian airforce fighter pilot, when learns about it, takes his machine gun, gets into his fighter jet plane, and alone fights against them.
