The Storyline of the Movie Drishyam 2
‘Drishyam 2’ is a continuation of part one in which Officer Meera is still searching for her son’s dead body hidden by Vijay Salgaonkar. For those who are not aware of part one’s plot, let me give you a little brief about it.
Meera’s son Sameer records the video of a young girl named Anju while she is bathing. Later, he blackmails her with the clip and even reaches her home. They both get into a conflict and Anju accidentally hits him with the iron stick, as a result, he dies on the spot. Anju’s mother Nandini witnesses this incident and informs her husband Vijay about it. Vijay works as a cable operator and has only two priorities in his life i.e. his family and a craze for cinema. He assures them that he will not let them harm and applies a solid plan to hide Sameer’s body. Meera with her cops tries very hard to find her son’s body but fails in every aspect.
Coming back to the second part, Officer Meera hires a cunning officer named Tarun Ahlawat who disguises two officers named Shiva and Jenny as Vijay’s neighbors. Shiva pretends like a drunk man who beats and abuses his wife while Jenny shows us herself as an unfortunate woman. While Vijay is out for work, Jenny comes to his wife Nandini to comfort her and soon wins her trust. Nandini assumes her trustworthiness and reveals Vijay’s act of hiding a dead body.
