The Storyline of the Movie Love Today
Pradeep lives with his widowed mother Saraswati and elder sister Divya while Nikhita has a strict father named Venu Shastri Iyengar, who is a lawyer. They both are professional engineers and have been in a relationship since college. They believe that they are so much in love with each other that they can now step into the next level, ie. marriage.
Meanwhile, Pradeep’s family is busy in the preparations for Divya’s wedding which is fixed with a professional dentist Dr. Yogi. As he is not very good in physical appearance, Pradeep asks Divya for a reason to agree to marry him. Divya says that he respects her privacy and never suspects her, and also, he never uses his phone during their conversation which means he values the time they spend together.
Nikhita is also invited to Divya’s wedding where they both get caught in the eye of Nikhita’s father while they are together. Her father demands to meet him and before that, Nikhita provides Pradeep with all the queries her father could ask. Well prepared Pradeep meets with her father and answers all the queries quite nicely.
But her father doesn’t stop there and asks both of them to exchange their phones for 24 hours. If everything remains fine between them, then he will not interfere in their decision of marriage. They both hesitate at first but do agree to give this test.
