An iconic South actor Vijay acted as the lead in this movie and shared the screen with a lovely actress Rashmika Mandana, who appeared in popular movies like Sita Ramam, Mission Majnu, and Pushpa.
The Storyline of the Movie Varisu
A businessman named Jayaprakash has made a deal with another business magnet, which is almost done and he is excited to make an announcement on this. Jayaprakash alias JP is a ruthless businessman and is ready to attempt any desperate thing to get the business deals.
While he is planning to release the news of getting a deal, he learns from the media that the deal has been clinched by the Rajendra Group of Companies, his biggest rival. JP gets furious and confused at the same time about how such a close deal could slip from his hands. On the other hand, Rajendra is successful in getting the deal due to his sons Jay and Ajay.
On being asked by the dealer about having no touch with the youngest one, Rajendra gets a little uncomfortable and changes the topic. The next scene reveals that Rajendra’s youngest son Vijay has been thrown out of the house as he refused to join the family business and decided to launch his own food delivery start-up.
Meanwhile, Rajendra learns about his fourth-stage cancer due to which he could only survive for a few more months. He decides to launch a party on his 65th birthday and plans to announce his successor at that event. Unfortunately, the party turns into a series of revelations.
His elder son Jai finds out to be cheating on his wife Aarthi and has an extra-marital affair with a woman named Sumita, while, his other son Ajay is in debt of more than ₹550 crore and to re-pay this amount he offers to leak his company’s secrets to Jayaprakash.
Rajendra is disheartened by this unexpected revelation. Now to whom will he choose?
