The Storyline of the Movie Ok Jaanu
The movie begins with a Lucknow boy Aditya alias Adi who comes to Mumbai to work in the gaming company. He dreams of becoming a video game developer and settling in the United States while working under Mark Zuckerberg. While traveling on the Mumbai train, he spots a girl on the platform trying to jump in front of an approaching train. He shouts over her and at the very next moment, she disappears.
In Mumbai, Adi stays in the house of his elder brother’s senior Gopi who is a strict retired judge, and lives with his loving wife Charu. Later, he attends his friend Jenny’s wedding where he meets the same girl he spotted on the platform. Adi learns that her name is Tara and she is planning to pursue architectural studies in Paris. While in conversation with her, she reveals that her bizarre act on the platform is to get rid of her ex-boyfriend.
As they both share the same perspectives on not committing to marriage, they decide to live together and focus on their career. They express their wish to share the room among Gopi and Charu to which Gopi refuses but later agrees when Tara impresses Charu with her classical singing.
Will Tara and Adi be able to go with their perspectives to steer clear of commitments or the destiny has some other plans?
