The Storyline of the Movie ‘Sita Ramam’
Afreen (Ramshika Madonna) studies at a university in London and, during a riot, vandalizes the car of a rich man; when asked to apologize, she boldly refuses. Her stubbornness lands her in financial trouble, and now she has to pay the owner 10 lakh rupees. To arrange the money, she visits her grandfather in her hometown, Pakistan. Reaching there, her heart stops from the grief of learning about his death a few days ago.
She still needs to pay the money for which she has to acclaim the will, which can be done only after she successfully delivers a letter from a man named Ram addressed to Sita, living in Hyderabad, India. She is pissed and angry to go on a journey to the rival country but apathetically hits the road at the crack of dawn. On the way, she meets strangers who become her friends, and a bitter-sweet, the incomplete story of love tends to break hearts. On her way, she also learns a harsh truth about herself which changes her obstinate views on life and politics.
