An ex-soldier who now works as a night manager for a luxury hotel is approached by the manager of a foreign office task force to help her investigate illegal arms sales by getting close to the infamous dealer.
Season 1 of the English drama ‘The Night Manager’ is based on a novel with a similar name written by John le Carre, who is also named one of the executive producers of the said series. Currently streaming on its OTT platform, the series has garnered attention from all around. The series is broken down into six episodes starring Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander, David Harewood, and Elizabeth Debicki.
And this Hollywood Web series was commercially doing well; the chance of a second season was in the talks but has not still been confirmed. However, “The Night Manager” was up for several awards because of its growing popularity.

The series starts in 2011 when Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) is a night manager of the Nefertiti Hotel in Egypt. There he meets Sophie Alekan (Aure Atika), a mistress of Freddie Hamid (David Avery), who came from a wealthy and influential family.
Jonathan gets caught in the ongoing mission of leaking confidential documents because of Sophie Alekan. Pine, wanting to save Sophie, brings her back to a safe house after finding her beaten and bruised.
Hereafter, Pine gets romantically involved with Sophie and is devasted by her death a while later. The show jumps four years ahead and shows Pine working as a night manager at the Meisters Hotel in Zermatt, Switzerland, as well as assisting an intelligence officer in the assassination of Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie).
