Season 2 of the Indian web series ‘Jamtara-Sabka Number Ayega’ is a crime web drama directed by Soumendra Padhi. The series has two seasons, the first one being released on 10 January 2020.
Padhi was inspired to direct this series after reading an article in The New Indian Express about the phishing operations that were being carried out by school children in the Jamtara district, and many of his characters can be seen as having similarities to this case. Season 2 is now available for streaming on its OTT platform.
The Storyline of the ‘Jamtara: Season 2’
Season 2 continues from where the story was left in season 1. Where the dates for elections are getting nearer in Jamtara, in which Gudiya (Monika Panwar) had decided to take part, Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastav) yet again comes up with a new plan to scam people. But as Gudiya gets ready to get into a political battle, not everything goes as she had planned. On the other hand, the dating app scam has gained the attention of Dolly (Aksha Pardasany) and Saurav (Udit Arora), who return to Jamtara to investigate it.
