‘Veer Zaara’ is an emotional and captivating Bollywood film that tells the extraordinary love story between an Indian Air Force officer and a Pakistani woman.
This movie is directed by Yash Chopra, who is known for his romantic films, and produced by Aditya Chopra, who has worked on such movies as Ek Tha Tiger, Pathaan, and Dhoom 2.

Zaara is a lively Pakistani girl with a political background and her family has fixed her marriage to a wealthy lawyer Raza Shirazi. She travels to India to carry out her beloved Sikh grandmother, whom she refers to as Bebe,’s last wish is that her ashes be scattered in the Sutlej River among her ancestors.
Her bus gets involved in an accident as she is traveling, and Veer, an Indian officer rescues her. In addition, he gives her a tour of his village and helps her fulfill Bebe’s last wish. However, Veer discovers that he has fallen in love with Zaara while on this journey.
On the day of her return, Zaara’s fiance Raza Shirazi arrives at a railway station to pick her up back in Lahore. Veer confesses his love to her while saying goodbye and they both assume that it is going to be their last meeting.
Upon arriving in Pakistan, Zaara gets involved in her marriage preparation but soon realizes that she too has fallen in love with Veer. She confesses her feelings to her mother, and her mother advises her to forget him for the sake of his father’s pride. Meanwhile, Zaara’s friend Shabbo, unable to handle Zaara’s grief, calls Veer to let him know about Zaara’s deep love for him.
