The Storyline of the Movie ‘Aashram: Season 1’
Season one consists of Nine episodes. Each episode continues with the story of a con man who wishes to maintain the blind faith that people have in him. The season starts with the first episode, named ‘Pran Pratishtha’. It introduces Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) as a godlike man among his worshippers. His followers have blind faith in him, making him a powerful man in Politics. Many Politicians try to please him to gain his favours and the ‘Vote Bank’ that comes with him. What people are unaware of is the true identity of Baba Nirala.
He is a conman who has his fair share of involvement in rapes, murders, drugs, and much more. His popularity grows more when he tours with a pop singer. But everything starts changing when a skeleton is found on the property of an industrial group that connects with the Ex-CM Sundar Lal (Anil Rastogi). When this chaos began to reach the town, Baba Nirala was yet again brainwashing a girl named Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar), who had decided to drop her chosen career for the sake of Baba Nirala.
The skeleton case is assigned to Ujagar Singh (Darshan Kumar), who has no interest in digging too deep into it and only wishes to follow his superiors’ orders. But his mind is changed by Dr. Natasha (Anupriya Goenka) and Akhivendra Rathi (Rajeev Siddhartha), who encourages him to believe that there is more to the case. And so, when Ujagar started investigating, using all of his resources, many shocking secrets get revealed.
