‘Aashram’ is an Indian Hindi-Language, crime drama series. Season 1 of the series was a great hit for its plot, performance, and more, leaving its viewers wanting more. But the public did not have to wait too long as Season 2 of the series was soon released in the same year as Season 1.
It is both directed and produced by non-other than Prakash Jha and stars our very own Bobby Deol with Chandan Roy Sanyal, Aaditi Pohankar, Tushar Pandey, Darshan Kumar, and Anupriya Goenka. According to the critics, the actors gave given a brilliant performance in Season 1, and Season 2 surely did not disappoint. The series consists of 3 seasons and a total of 28 episodes so far. Season 2 of ‘Aashram’ was released on 11 November 2020 and consists of 9 episodes.
The Storyline of the ‘Aashram: Season 2’
Season two consists of Nine episodes. It continues with the Elections scenario, where Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) has promised Hukum Singh (Sachin Shroff) 20 seats in the state election. Baba’s popularity has reached new heights thanks to the tour that he had done with a pop star. The new season brings in new characters and a new twist to the storyline. While the general public was unaware of Baba’s true intentions, some knew exactly what kind of person he was, and one of them was Babita (Tridha Choudhury). Babita seduces Baba and sleeps with him to gain support and advantage. And true to her intentions, Baba is satisfied with her and even allows her to perform in the morning aarti almost every day.
Meanwhile, Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) has started doubting the ways of the Aashram, but not to the point where she will betray Baba. Taking drugs had become a common activity in the Aashram, but there was no way to catch Baba. Inspector Ujagar (Darshan Kumar) and Dr. Natasha (Anupriya Goenka) try to catch Baba red-handed and expose his illegal activities. But they are faced with obstacles that come with the reach and popularity of Baba in Politics.
