‘Hostel Daze’ is an Indian Hindi-Language, comedy-drama series. Season 1 of the series was directed by Raghav Subbu and released on 13 December 2019. Viral Fever has also remade the series in Tamil called ‘Engga Hostel’. The series, soon after its premier on its OTT platform, became a big success with an IMDb rating of 8.5/10. ‘Hostel Daze’ consists of 3 seasons and a total of 15 episodes where; season 2 was released on 23 July 2021, and Season 3 premiered on 16 November 2022.
The Storyline of the Series ‘Hostel Daze: Season 1’
Season 1 of ‘Hostel Daze’ is set in an engineering hostel in India, where the adventures of four men are the main focus of the series. Jatin (Nikhil Vijay), Rupesh Bhati (Shubham Gaur), and Chirag (Luv) are the three first years who are planning to live in the boys’ hostel. There they meet Ankit Pandey (Adarsh Gourav), a senior who has been in college for a long time.
In the first episode, Ankit is trying to find the room allotted to him by the hostel, but instead of finding it empty, he sees that Chirag and Rupesh have already occupied that room. The series continues with the four men struggling throughout the end of their semester, where each of them is trying to get out of their comfort zones.
