Don OTT Release Date

The Don movie release date was postponed several times in order to release it on a special day. Initially, it was scheduled to be released on Valentine’s Day then the date shifted to SK’s birthday and again got delayed due to the release of the RRR movie. 

Finally, on 13 May 2022, the movie was released on a good note, and it made a fiery entry into theatres. It got so many positive reviews and ended up becoming SK’s highest-grosser at the box office.

After a month of theatrical release, Don HD’s release date was announced by the makers and it was declared to be 10 June 2022.

Synopsis

The story begins on a rainstorm night when the protagonist Chakaravarthi tells about his college days while driving to college. The scene shifts to his childhood where he is being scolded by his strict father for not focusing on his studies. Meanwhile, he falls in love with his junior Angaiyarkanni alias Angu and keeps on visiting her classroom with different excuses. 

Initially, she avoids him but seeing his efforts she also falls for him. But one day, Chakaravarthi’s father sees them together and complains to Angu’s father about it due to which they get separated. 

After passing 12th, Chakaravarthi joined BEC (Best Engineering College) in Coimbatore with the hope of spending his life’s best days as a college student. Unfortunately, the discipline in charge of the college Bhoominath doesn’t let his hopes take rise. He is hated by college students for his strictness and rude nature. 

Chakaravarthi wants to get rid of him so he plans to send him to St. Paul’s University in Russia as a visiting professor. His plan gets successful and he becomes popular in the whole college. 

Chakaravarthi’s life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Angu again in BEC. She comes as a first-year student and doesn’t speak nice to him. He learns from her friend Lilly that her father hasn’t spoken to her since he got to know about their affair in school.  

To reconcile Angu and her father, Chakaravarthi creates a beautiful short film about them and it works. After that, Angu again begins to develop feelings for him. But their love is caught by the evil eye of Bhoominath who unexpectedly returns from Russia with the motive of teaching the person a lesson who sent him away.
