Macherla Niyojakavargam OTT Release Date

The movie Macherla Niyojakavargam hit theaters on 12 August 2022. Made with a budget of Rs.18.7 crores, the movie grossed only Rs.10.24 crores from the theaters and witnessed a loss of Rs. 8.76 crores. 

Well, this drop didn’t let the production team lose hope and they decided to announce a  Macherla Niyojakavargam OTT release date. On 9 December 2022, the makers released this movie on the OTT platform with the hope of receiving a good response from it.

Synopsis

The story begins in the Palnadu District of Andhra Pradesh where the funeral procession of an MLA is being done. The Chief Minister arrives at his funeral and consoles his son Rajappa. Rajappa tells CM that he wants to be his father’s successor as he is no more. 

CM assures him and asks the party members to give him a party ticket. But most of the party members don’t agree with it as Rajappa is a violent gangster. According to them, the inclusion of Rajappa in their party can badly affect their party’s status. CM decides to do public voting for the post of MLA but no one dares to stand against Rajappa. 

Meanwhile, the village chief encourages his son to stand as a candidate for the post of MLA. Then the voting starts along with the massacre in the village. Rajappa orders his men to stand near the voting booth and kill each of the people who dares to vote against him. They follow his orders and turn the voting booth into a blood pool. In between all this chaos, they even kill a candidate. 

After this extreme violence, Rajappa rules over that district and announces that there will be no voting afterward and he will remain the only MLA in that district. 

A few years pass and the scene shifts to a city where a girl named Nidhi is in love with her friend named N. Siddharth alias Siddhu but he has no feelings for her and only sees her as a friend. One day she takes Siddhu to meet her father who is a popular politician and gives him an opportunity to be posted as District Collector for Palnadu District. After thinking a lot, he agrees but is unaware of the Rajappa’s terror. 

Will he be able to know about Rajappa and safeguard the villagers from his violence?
