The Storyline of the Movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
The movie begins in London where Ayan Sanger and Alizeh Khan by chance meet in a bar and spend a night in conversation, instantly converting into best friends. They again meet in a disco bar along with their partners, where they discover that their partners are cheating on them.
They break up with their partners and plan a week trip to Paris. Meanwhile, Ayan falls in love with Alizeh but doesn’t confess to her as she sees him as only a friend. One day, Alizeh stumbles into his ex-boyfriend DJ Ali with whom she has been in a relationship for a long time. He asks her to come back to his life and, confused, Alizeh agrees to reconcile as she still loves him.
As Alizeh goes with DJ Ali, she stops hanging out with Ayan and a communication distance occurs between them. One day, she calls him and invites him to her marriage with DJ Ali in Lucknow. Ayan is shocked by this news but gets ready to attend her marriage with a heavy heart. He confesses his feelings to her but as Alizeh doesn’t reciprocate it, he leaves the marriage.
